NoSpoiler.club ("the App", "we", "us") is a web application that helps users find sports match highlights on YouTube without revealing the result. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
By using NoSpoiler.club you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and to the data practices described in this policy.
NoSpoiler.club uses the YouTube Data API v3, provided by Google, to search for publicly available videos on YouTube. By using the App you are also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
All API calls to YouTube are made server-side through a Cloudflare Worker proxy. The proxy forwards your search query to YouTube and returns results to your browser. No YouTube credentials or OAuth tokens are requested from users — the App does not ask you to log in with your Google or YouTube account.
We do not collect personal information. Specifically:
The only data the App stores is kept locally on your own device (see Section 4).
When you submit a search, the text of your query is sent to our Cloudflare Worker proxy, which in turn forwards it to the YouTube Data API. The query is used solely to retrieve video results and is not stored or logged by us.
Cloudflare may process network metadata (such as IP addresses) in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
NoSpoiler.club uses the browser's localStorage to persist the following preferences on your device:
This data is stored entirely on your device and never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for nospoiler.club, or through the App's "clear bans" functionality.
We do not set cookies. Third-party content embedded in the App (YouTube's IFrame Player, loaded when you choose to watch a video) may place cookies or use similar tracking technologies in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
When you select a video to watch, the App embeds the YouTube IFrame Player directly on the page. This player is served by YouTube/Google and is subject to their terms and privacy practices. We have no control over cookies, tracking, or data collection performed by the YouTube player.
For videos that cannot be embedded, the App provides a direct link to watch the video on YouTube.com.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. The only external service that receives data in the course of using this App is the YouTube Data API (operated by Google), as described in Section 1 and 3.
We do not store user data on our servers. Preferences stored in your browser's localStorage persist until you clear them. No authorization tokens or user credentials are stored by the App.
NoSpoiler.club is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
